Final event “WORKING WITH PERSONS DEPRIVED OF LIBERTY”
How European good practice exchanges help and support educators to develop their knowledge, competences and activity.

Project “EDUCATE. Educators for Inclusive and Effective Reintegration of Inmate” shares its outputs with other local and European experiences in order to share new tools and methodologies.

The event, organized in collaboration with Ombudsman of the Rights of Persons deprived of Liberty of Emilia-Romagna Region, took place in Bologna (Italy), but it represents the main final dissemination initiative concerning Educate.

EDUCATE aims:

  • To create 1 transnational workgroup, including the workers of all partner organizations involved in the project, in order to facilitate good practices, methodologies and tools exchange;
  • To create local workgroups, including the workers of each partner, in order to facilitate the dissemination of new competences acquired and the innovation of the organization;
  • To create local networks of stakeholders committed with adult education in the specific field of justice and inmates’ social reintegration, in order to facilitate the output production and the replicability of good practices at local level;
  • To create an European network of organizations committed with adult education in the specific field of justice and inmates’ social reintegration, in order to promote debate on practices, methodologies and tools for effective and inclusive educative paths aimed at social reintegration of inmates.
