4 transnational meetings

Transnational meetings allow partner organizations to plan activities and share ongoing activities and results. In particular the transnational meetings in Portugal and Greece also allowed to know local experiences, visiting a penitentiary in Lisbon and meeting 5 representatives of local communities and NGOs.

3 training sessions involving partner organizations

Each mobility experience includes introduction to National Penal System, visit to local structure, training on thematic issues (mental desease, integration into labour market, transversal competences; networking for effective social reintegration); meeting with local relevant stakeholders.

Activities involved 28 participants and allowed partner organizations to exchange good practices, visiting 15 projects and facilities (prisons and structures run by NGOs) and meeting 27 persons who brought their experience and stories.

Partner organizations dedicated each training session to a specific issue, mixing plenary, lectures and workgroups:

  • Italy –FOCUS ON COMPETENCES
  • Romania –FOCUS ON REINTEGRATION PATHS
  • Spain –FOCUS ON INTEGRATION INTO LABOUR MARKET.

peer-to-peer training in each country

After each mobility experience, the trained staff is actively committed in transferring to colleagues experience, knowledge and competences acquired during training abroad.

5 focus groups with relevant stakeholders

Each partner carries out a focus group with local stakeholders, in order to share and improve the main outputs produced, with particular attention to the grid which synthetizes the common framework of competences that educators involved in educative paths addressed to adult inmates should have, in order to ensure an inclusive and effective social reintegration and a reduced risk of crime.

2 surveys on staff

A dedicated online survey assesses the changes, among the target addressed by the project (staff – educators, agents, psychologists, etc.), that can be attributed to the project itself and to the specific activities implemented. The survey has been carried out at the beginning and at the end of the project (ex-ante and ex-post).
